The space-saving washing machine GPM2
Sink or washbasin, the GPM2 has been built to one simply aim : To be set above a washbasin or furniture whitout problems in order to save place.
The GPM2 is very similar to 2 others products of our range : GPM1 and GPM Mini, which are also space-saving washbasins.
The difference between them : from one side, the size with the GPM Mini which is smaller about the available depth, from another side, the esthetic where the GPM1 has an oval shape for the sink, the GPM2 has a square shape which is deeper : Depth of the GPM2's sink is 10 centimeter.
The space released below the washbasin measures 60 centimeter for the width and 47 centimeter for the available depth which let you install a washing machine or furniture measuring until 45 centimeter of depth. The installation height is about 86 centimeter to let a space between the washbasin and the washing machine in order to move it if necessary or to avoid any problems such as vibrations.
Fits all slim-depth washing machines
You do not have to get a mini washing machine or anything similar, just choose a "slimline" (also called "shallow depth" or "slim depth") model from your favourite manufacturer. Capacities go up to 7Kg, and models include washer-drier combinations.

The space available under the wash basin is 60cm wide * 47cm deep. Standard washing machine height (European models) is 85cm. Anything that fits in this space should be Ok, of course front loading is compultory !

The washbasin and soap holder are made of cast stone, a popular replacement for ceramic for bathroom products with a very similar aspect and without the "plastic" feeling of polyester-acrylic products.

Electrical safety
European legislation requires specific precautions for installation of a washing machine in a bathroom, with 2 primary rules:
- The washing machine must be placed in "zone 3" of the bathroom, more than 60cm away from the shower or bathtub
- Its electrical supply must be earthed, and protected by a 30mA RCD (residual current device)
